The digitized beach, from the buoy to the information panel

Digital Waves integrates marine sensors, weather stations, cameras, smart showers and a mobile app to manage the beach with real-time data.

Automatic flags and alerts

METEO and the LISA buoy automatically activate hazard flags and warnings, reducing human error and helping lifeguards.

Real-time water quality

LISA measures turbidity, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll, pH, conductivity, hydrocarbons and E. coli to make quick decisions and protect bather health.

Solar radiation under control

The SUNMETER monitors the UV index and displays recommendations for users to protect themselves against solar radiation.

Weather and climate risks

The METEO station records wind, rain, temperature and humidity to anticipate weather risks and improve daily beach planning.

Panels, screens and public address systems

Information panels, interactive screens and public address systems communicate sea conditions, water quality, safety and visitor numbers with AI-powered automated messages.

Smart showers and water saving

iSHOWER, the smart solar shower, allows you to control usage times, remote activation and water consumption for more efficient management.

We create the digital twin of your beach to manage security, cleanliness and resources with real-time data.

At WDTech, data is designed for action.

CHALLENGE

The growing environmental impact and the need to ensure more sustainable and safer beaches for swimmers drove us to develop Digital Waves. We faced the challenge of obtaining accurate and accessible data to better manage natural resources and protect public health.

SOLUTION

Digital Waves measures, in real time, physicochemical and microbiological parameters—such as the presence of E. coli—to ensure water quality and swimmer safety. It also provides key data to optimize the management of beaches and other ecosystems, promoting their sustainability.
